Heights

Heights are a crew from the United Kingdom. The name is also used by several other acts in different genres and line-ups, but this entry refers to the post-hardcore band from Hertfordshire.

Origins and line-up

Heights form in 2009 as a four-piece band from Hertfordshire. The line-up consists of Alex Montgomery on vocals, Dean Richardson on guitar, Tom Green on guitar and Tom Hutton on drums.

Style and releases

The band is associated with post-hardcore, hardcore, melodic hardcore, metalcore and experimental music. Their debut album, Dead Ends, is released in June 2011. A second album, Old Lies For Young Lives, follows in 2013 and is described as the band’s second and thought to be final album. In 2014 they issue a three-track EP, Strangers, which is their final studio material before the band splits.
