Heather Jones is a Welsh singer from Cardiff, Wales. Born in 1949, she becomes one of the leading figures in Welsh-language music from the 1970s onwards. Although she learns Welsh as a second language, she performs and records in the language and is associated with Welsh folk song.

Her style sits between folk and more rock-oriented material: she is described as being equally at home in “pure” folk and in music with a stronger rock edge. Her voice is noted for its clear, warm quality. She is also linked with Bara Menyn.
