Heart In Hand are a melodic hardcore band from the United Kingdom, formed in 2008 and active until 2015. The band comes from Bournemouth and Southampton and works within melodic hardcore, metalcore, hardcore, melodic metalcore and post-hardcore.

Career

The group emerges in 2011 with its debut album, Only Memories, after first building attention with the demo Loyalty, which reaches more than 1,000 plays within an hour when it appears on Myspace in late 2008. In early 2009 the band self-releases a six-track EP, also titled Heart In Hand. In 2010 it works with SGR artist management, then records Only Memories in January 2011 with producer Andy Hayball, who has worked with acts including Slipknot and Bring Me The Horizon. The band signs to Siege Of Amida Records in February 2011 and releases Only Memories in May 2011.

The album includes a guest appearance from Ian Fike of It Prevails on the track “Ghosts”. Heart In Hand supports acts including For The Fallen Dreams, Dead Swans, Carpathian and Gallows, and tours with TRC, Lower Than Atlantis and It Prevails. The band also appears at Ghostfest and Hevy Festival in 2011. In February 2015, it announces that it is done touring and making music.
