HEADPRESS

HEADPRESS is a four-piece band formed in Stoke-on-Trent, UK, in 1999. The line-up consists of Karl Lawton on bass and vocals, Oliver Darlington on guitar and vocals, Tim Paling on drums and vocals, and Martin Allen on guitar and vocals.

The band’s music combines the different influences each member brings, drawing on extreme metal, hardcore, thrash, death metal and traditional metal. Its approach is described as aiming for direct, memorable songs while keeping a heavy sound.

After more than a decade without recording, HEADPRESS is set to release the EP Image of Atrocity. It is recorded at Summerbank Studio in the band’s home town with producer Paul Hume.
