Harm's Way

Harm's Way is a hardcore punk band from Chicago, United States, active since 2006. The group works in hardcore punk, industrial metal, metalcore and powerviolence, and has members Bo Lueders and John Hoffman.

Releases and style

The band builds its sound around a mix of hardcore aggression, metallic weight and industrial repetition. Its early releases appear on Organized Crime Records, including the Imprisoned 7-inch in 2007, the self-titled Harm's Way 7-inch and Reality Approaches in 2008, and No Gods, No Masters on Closed Casket Activities in 2010. Isolation, released by Closed Casket Activities in 2011, is a key album in the band's catalogue. Later releases include the Blinded EP on Deathwish Inc. in 2013, Rust on Deathwish Inc. in 2015, and Posthuman on Metal Blade Records in 2018.
