Hannah Holland

Hannah Holland is a London DJ, producer and label boss, born in 1981. She works across house and techno, and is also associated with minimal and mix-oriented sets.

She becomes known for hosting a series of club nights and raves in unusual venues, including a medieval prison, a former transvestite brothel, a boat travelling on the Thames, and a disused Quick-Fit garage. She also runs weekly nights in Shoreditch.

Her sound is described as drawing on electro, electrotrash and filth, with a rough, underground edge. The material associated with her also refers to her as “Resident Trailer Trasher” and “garbage collector”, reflecting the provocation and humour often attached to her work.
