Hank
Hank is a name used by several different acts, including heavy rock, math-punk, gangsta rap, indie-pop, progressive rock, and indie-rock projects, as well as a solo singer-songwriter. One version is a heavy rock band from Oberhausen, Germany, which later disbands and leaves its remaining members to form the alternative rock band Sick#Red. Another is a math-punk band from Champaign, Illinois, made up of three people who play by tapping on things and enjoy their daily box of wine.
Other acts using the name include a gangsta rapper from Michigan, an indie-pop band from Palermo in Sicily, a progressive rock band from Boston, and a Toronto-based outfit associated primarily with Cab Williamson, which releases albums on Blocks RC, Tomlab and Ta-Da. There is also a Norwegian rock, pop and folk singer and actor associated with Hans-Erik Dyvik Husby, a gum-pop band from Basle in Switzerland, the solo project of American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Sara L'Abriola, and an indie-rock band from England.
