Hail the Sun is a post-hardcore band from Chico, United States, active since 2009. The group forms around four musicians who have played together for more than a decade, and their lineup includes Donovan Melero on lead vocals and drums, Aric Garcia on guitar and backing vocals, Shane Gann on guitar and vocals, and John Stirrat on bass. The band is associated with post-hardcore, progressive rock and swancore.

Background
