Hail Animator

Hail Animator are a US progressive rock band formed by four people and later based in Leeds. They are active from the late 2000s and have since ended. The group forms in a basement in a Victorian terrace house in Leeds and, in its early period, supports acts including Vagabond, Doll & The Kicks, Wintersleep, It Hugs Back, Sound of Guns and We Were Promised Jetpacks at venues across the city.

The band plans a short UK tour and its first official EP release for 2010. Its music combines an interest in expansive, grand arrangements with layered, angular guitar work and an upright British indie-pop feel.
