Habberdash

Habberdash are a Sheffield pop-rock band active since 2013. They are an alternative pop-rock quartet whose sound combines modern rock with pop-oriented vocal hooks and guitar-driven melodies.

Formation and lineup

The band begins in early 2013, when friends come together in Sheffield. Their line-up is Kriss Stainton on vocals, Hayden Marshall on bass, Ashley Houlden on guitar and Andrew Holland on drums.

Music and releases

Habberdash build their material around versatile, guitar-led alternative pop-rock. Their single Like A Lover comes from the Morning After The Madness EP. The EP is developed in late 2017 at Treehouse Studios in Derbyshire with producer Daniel Jeffery, and it reflects a more refined and mature sound for the band.

Performances and influences

The group develops a reputation for energetic live performances and plays headline shows across South Yorkshire. They also perform at Y Not Festival and open for acts including The Buzzcocks and Crazy Town.

Their influences include Lower Than Atlantis, The Beatles, Nirvana, Issues and Bruno Mars.
