Gustav

Gustav is a Swiss artist from Fribourg, born in 1975, associated with mundart and Swiss music. The name is used by more than one act, including Eva Jantschitsch, a one-woman band from Vienna who makes music for film, theatre and portable devices using a laptop and a range of instruments, and Pascal Vonlanthen, a Swiss chansonier who sings in German and French and releases work with different bands and orchestras. The name also appears for an Australian funk group and a Swedish electronic producer.

As a solo project, Gustav’s work is linked with electronic and alternative music, and the act is associated with female vocals.
