Groundwork

Groundwork is a hardcore band from Tucson, Arizona, in the United States. The group is associated with straight edge hardcore, and its recordings and history place it in the early to mid-1990s.

History and recordings

The band releases several 7-inch records and a split release with Unbroken, a California hardcore band. A discography appears on Bloodlink Records around the time the group breaks up. Groundwork also has a second, separate namesake band from Connecticut that exists at the same time, but this Tucson group is the Arizona outfit.

Line-up

Groundwork’s members are Jerid Francom on guitars, Thayer Johnson on drums, Brendan Desmet on vocals, Jim Kuehl on bass, and Dave Jackson on guitars. The group also includes backing vocals from Dave, Jim, Jerid and Brendan.
