Gretel

Gretel is Grace Risch, a singer and songwriter from Berlin, Germany. She has performed previously under the name Gretel Hänlyn. Her writing begins in childhood, with her first songs appearing at 11, shaped by an early interest in gothic music and artists such as Nick Cave.

Her songs develop into a blend of grunge, goth-pop and indie ballads, drawing on gothic and folk influences as well as high-energy live bands including Nirvana and Wolf Alice. The project sits within indie rock, pop, folk and experimental music, and centres on her songwriting and voice.
