Graywave

Graywave is the solo recording project of Birmingham-based artist Jess Webberely. Webberely is a multi-disciplinary artist, multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter, and the project presents work in the styles of alternative metal, dream pop, post-metal and shoegaze.

Style and influences

The music combines dreamy chord progressions, shoegaze-influenced guitar lines and strong vocals. Webberely cites Men I Trust, Slowdive, Crumb and Widowspeak among the acts that inform the project’s sound.
