Gravel

Gravel is the name used by several different acts, including a Lithuanian rock band, a punk outfit from Salem, Massachusetts, a grunge band from Anacortes, Washington, and a Polish metal band that later takes the name Tryton.

Lithuanian rock band

The best-known rock act with this name is a four-piece band from Naujoji Vilnia, a working-class district of Lithuania’s capital. It is described by some critics as “Lithuanian Oasis”. The group comes to an end in 2008, when it announces that it is splitting up.

Other acts using the name

Another Gravel is a currently active four-piece punk group from Salem, Massachusetts, and it releases music through Bandcamp. A separate Gravel is a grunge band from Anacortes, Washington, which issues two albums on Estrus Records and also releases 7-inch singles on K Records and Knw-Yr-Own. A further Polish metal band uses the name before changing to Tryton.
