Grave Miasma

Grave Miasma is a British black/death metal group from London, active since 2002. The band begins under the name Goat Molestör before taking the Grave Miasma name in 2006. Its music sits within black metal and death metal, with the band commonly described as blackened death metal.

Early releases and name change

Under the Goat Molestör name, the group issues the demo tape Ancient Barbaric Assault and the Realm of Evoked Doom 7-inch, which later receives a CD reissue with improved sound through Nuclear Winter Records. After the rename to Grave Miasma, the band continues building its catalogue with the Exalted Emanation MLP, which comes out on Sepulchral Voice Records.

Albums, touring and activity

Following a short break and a run of gigs and tours across Europe and the United States, Grave Miasma releases its debut full-length, Odori Sepulcrorum. Sepulchral Voice Records issues the album in Europe, while Profound Lore Records handles the United States release. Soon after, the band tours Europe with Necros Christos.
