Graham Gold

Graham Gold is a British DJ and producer associated with trance, house and techno. He builds his reputation through long-running radio work, club residencies, extensive international touring and a steady stream of productions and remixes that are played by leading trance DJs.

Career

He is closely linked with Kiss 100 and Peach Records, which help establish his profile in dance music. He has more than 30 years of experience as a DJ and plays at clubs and festivals around the world, including Glastonbury, Homelands, Impulz, W.E.M.F., Summadayze and Street Parade in Zurich. He is also described as a resident at Slinky (UK) throughout 2006.

His productions receive support from Paul van Dyk, and his releases include The Ending, Nightdive and The Rest Of Us. He also remixes Steve Morley’s Re-Incarnation. His collaboration with Tristan under the name Silver & Gold circulates in the boxes of Paul van Dyk, John 00 Fleming and Johan Gielen. Another solo project, Culebra, also receives play from Paul van Dyk and other major trance DJs.

Radio and recordings

Graham Gold spends 15 years with Kiss 100 and reaches a large audience through that station. He also broadcasts weekly on Friday nights on Passion Radio in Sussex and presents monthly mix radio shows online. His mix-album sales are stated at more than 700,000 copies across series including Kiss Mix, Kiss in Ibiza and Club Cuts.

Recognition and labels

He appears in the DJ Mag Top 100 in seven of nine years, reaching number 22 in two of those years and placing inside the Top 40 on five occasions. The DJ scene calls him a legend, and he is noted for keeping his sets current and for regularly returning to play major events. He works in his own studio and is linked with labels including good:as and Peach Records.
