Good Friend

Good Friend is a punk rock group based in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. The band is made up of Adam Carroll, Leon Connolly and Andy Reid. Although the members originally come from around Belfast and Northern Ireland, they move to Newcastle to work and start a band.

Their early music draws a local audience quickly, and they sell out their first hometown show before releasing their debut record. Their first proper release is Ride The Storm, a 10-track album of rock-influenced punk released on Red Scare. The record is described as drawing on influences such as Alkaline Trio, The Flatliners and Millencolin, and it includes Gaelic folklore, drinking songs and nautical themes.

Good Friend is associated with punk rock, pop punk, skate punk and rock.
