Godeater are a technical death metal band from Glasgow, Scotland. Formed in 2016, they also sit within death metal, deathcore, grindcore, progressive metal and orchestral metal, and have remained active since then.

The group’s line-up includes Allan MacDonald, Will Keogh, Ross Beagan, Andrew MacDonald, Josh Graham, Tim Coulson and Jamie Harrison. Their first full-length album, All Flesh is Grass, appears in 2019 after a run of teaser tracks, and is described as a debut that expands the sonic scope of death metal. A second album, Vespera, follows in 2022.

Godeater build a live reputation on the UK circuit, with appearances at Bloodstock, Revive Festival, Damnation Festival and UK Tech-Fest. They also tour with Party Cannon, Paleface, Pintglass, Osiah, Harbinger and Vexed.
