Girl Scout

Girl Scout are an indie rock group from Stockholm, Sweden. The band forms around five members: Kevin Hamring, Emma Jansson, Per Lindberg, Viktor Spasov and Evelina Arvidsson Eklind. Jansson and Eklind study at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, where the group begins after the members meet while studying jazz and start playing together.

The project starts with two of the musicians forming a duo to play cover versions of songs by artists including the Beatles and Burt Bacharach at cocktail events and openings. As they begin performing original material, the line-up grows into a four-piece. The band later plays live shows across the UK and Scandinavia, supports Holly Humberstone and secures festival bookings.

Girl Scout’s early recorded output begins with the debut single Do You Remember Sally Moore?. The group’s line-up on that release includes Emma Jansson on guitar and vocals, Evelina Arvidsson Eklind on bass and vocals, Per Lindberg on drums and Viktor Spasov on guitar.
