Girl Band

Girl Band is an Irish post-punk and noise rock group from Dublin, now known as Gilla Band. The band consists of Dara Kiely on vocals and guitar, Alan Duggan on guitar, Daniel Fox on bass, and Adam Faulkner on drums.

The group takes its name from an encounter in a bar with an “annoying girl”, which leads to the band name being used with a deliberately ironic edge. Its style is associated with post-punk, noise rock, no wave and alternative rock.
