Giorgio Tuma

Giorgio Tuma is an Italian pop songwriter from Lecce, Italy. He writes lyrics that often draw on childhood memories and imagery associated with fairgrounds, roller coasters and circuses.

Career

He performs with a group of musicians called OS TUMANTES, whose name pays tribute to Os Mutantes, the Brazilian band associated with the development of tropicalia. His first album, Uncolored (Swing'n'Pop Around Rose), is released under the name TUMA on the Italian label L'amico Immaginario. The record reflects his musical influences, including a strong interest in Brazilian music, as well as jazz elements and a light, colourful approach to composition.

His second album, Mi Vocalese Fun Fair, is released on the Spanish pop label Elefant Records.
