Gigi Masin
Gigi Masin is an Italian ambient and new age musician from Venezia. Born in 1955, he has been active in music since the early 1970s and also works as a radio DJ, appearing on major radio stations.
His work includes collaboration with poet and writer Massimo Palladino, a partnership that begins in 1978. Together they create pieces for theatre, television and radio broadcasting, combining music and voice. His sound uses tapes, turntables and live electronics, placing him in an experimental, performance-led approach to ambient music.
