Gideon

Gideon is a heavy metal and hardcore band from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, in the United States. The group forms in 2008 and is active from then to the present. Its line-up includes Daniel McCartney, Daniel McWhorter, Timmy Naugher, Tyler Riley, Jake Smelley and Blake Hardman.

The band plays melodic metalcore and is also tagged as hardcore, metalcore, melodic hardcore and christian. It is described as an aggressive metalcore act with a strong gang-vocal approach and a prominent lead vocalist. The members have played together since 2008.
