Gia Margaret is an American singer-songwriter and producer from Chicago, Illinois. She describes her music as “sleep rock”.

She is trained in classical piano from childhood and begins a degree in music before ending both that course of study and her formal piano training.

Early recordings and release

She first builds an audience through home-recorded pop and folk songs shared on SoundCloud and YouTube. Her first full-length album, There’s Always Glimmer, is released in 2018.
