Gel

Gel are a late 1990s UK britpop and punk pop group from Reading. They are active from the late 1990s to 2000 and are a four-piece consisting of Marc Berry, Andrew Courtney, Jon Courtney and Alastair Gamble.

The band records its debut album in 2000. After the group splits, the album Sparkly Things is eventually released, with the material described as having been overlooked for a time. Gel sit within the broader UK punk pop and britpop scene of the period.
