Gazelle Twin

Gazelle Twin is the solo project of composer and visual artist Elizabeth Bernholz, who is based in Brighton, United Kingdom and was formerly a member of A Scandal In Bohemia. The project begins with a self-released debut, Gazelle Twin Demo 2009, and most of its releases appear on Anti-Ghost Moon Ray Records, a label she co-founds with other members of the collective of the same name.

Releases

Gazelle Twin’s albums include The Entire City (2011), The Entire City Remixed (2012), Unflesh (2014), Fleshed Out (2016), Kingdom Come (2017) and Pastoral (2018). Fleshed Out consists of remixes of tracks from Unflesh.

Her EPs include Changelings (2010), released on Something Nothing, I Am Shell I Am Bone (2011), Men Like Gods (2011), Mammal (2013), released on Sugarcane, Belly of the Beast (2014) and Anti Body (2014).

Style and label work

The project is associated with art pop, dark wave, electro-industrial, electronic, experimental electronic and post-industrial. Bernholz is also linked to the anti-Ghost Moon Ray collective through the Anti-Ghost Moon Ray label. Her surname is given as Bernholz, née Walling.
