Gatecreeper

Gatecreeper is a death metal band from Phoenix, United States, formed in 2013 and active since then. The group plays death metal, hardcore punk and melodic death metal, and is identified as a US death metal band.

The band’s debut full-length album is Sonoran Depravation. It is described as a set of nine songs built around low-end, old-school death metal, with a crusty and doom-leaning sound across more than 30 minutes. The record is produced by Ryan Bram at Homewrecker Studios and mixed by Kurt Ballou at God City Studios.

The album’s sound is compared to classic Swedish death metal bands such as Dismember and Grave, alongside the groove of Obituary and Bolt Thrower. Gatecreeper are presented as a band carrying death metal into a new generation.
