Gareth Wyn is a UK DJ and producer working across trance, house and electronic dance music. He is known for driving club sets and for studio productions that move between house and trance. He is also associated with the London party promotion House Rules, which runs as an underground club night.

Career

Wyn builds a reputation through touring and club appearances in the UK and internationally. He headlines shows in Jakarta and Manila, and he also plays major events including Creamfields in Liverpool and in Poland, where he performs in large main arenas. In the UK, he guests at clubs across the country. He also appears as a guest presenter on Ministry of Sound Radio and is featured in Mixmag, DJ Mag and Pacha Magazine.

Recognition

He is named a Mixmag Future Hero and serves as a Cream Ibiza resident. He is noted for reading and responding to crowds during DJ sets, which contributes to his standing in club culture.

Remixes and productions

Wyn’s remix of The Gossip’s Standing In The Way Of Control is one of his better-known reworks. He also reworks Da Hool’s Love Parade, which is signed to Ministry of Sound. With The Viceroy, a Gallery resident, he produces La Galeria, which is signed by Paul van Dyk for Vandit Digital and included on Paul van Dyk’s Cream Ibiza 2008 album. Other remix work includes tracks by Junkie XL, Kasabian and Duffy, including Mercy.

House Rules

His promotion House Rules has been running in London for three years and is described as one of the city’s underground parties.
