Hannah Lucy has been recording and performing as Gaptooth since 2005. She is an electro-pop artist, born in Basingstoke, currently based in East London (via Oxford and Bristol).
While studying politics, philosophy and economics (PPE) at Oxford she worked part time for indie label Truck Records, as well as running the indie/electro club night Chicks With Decks with two other friends. It was in Oxford that she met producers A Scholar and a Physician (Foals, Chicks on Speed, MC Lars) who co-produced her forthcoming debut album. Gaptooth songs have also featured on compilations by Truck Records ('The Only Way is Truck', 2005) and Riot Grrrl Berlin ('Free Pussy Riot', 2012).
Gaptooth's debut single, 'Ladykillers', was released in December 2012, followed by 'Enduring Freedom' in July 2013. Her debut album is due for release in November 2013.
