Gantz

Gantz is a screamo group from Besançon, France, active from 1998 to 2006. The band works as a four-piece and plays a dark, emotional form of screamo. Its music combines chaotic passages with crystalline arpeggios, and has been compared with groups such as Isis and Envy.

The lyrics are personal, drawing on everyday life and questions about human nature. Gantz tours across Europe and plays shows in France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, Italy and the Czech Republic. It shares bills with acts including Funeral Diner, Envy, Yage, Hk, Raein, Pledge Alliance, Amanda Woodward, Isis, Majority Rule and Cave In.
