Gannets

Gannets are a United Kingdom free jazz group with a five-piece line-up of Chris Cundy, Fyfe Dangerfield, Dominic Lash, Steve Noble and Alex Ward. The group is closely linked to the avant-garde pop band Guillemots, and includes Guillemots veterans Alex Ward and Chris Cundy, with Guillemots frontman Fyfe Dangerfield on keyboards, Dominic Lash on double bass, and Steve Noble on drums.

The ensemble works in an experimental, improvisational style. It has been described as an abstract improvised counterpart to Guillemots, and it also plays in a free jazz context. Gannets also perform a BBC Radio session in 2007.
