Gannets are a 5-piece experimental, improvisational jazz ensemble, closely linked to the avant-garde pop band Guillemots. The line-up consists of Guillemots veterans, Alex Ward and Chris Cundy, with Guillemots frontman Fyfe Dangerfield playing keyboards, Dominic Lash on double bass, and Steve Noble on drums. The band have been described as "the abstract improv' version of the Guillemots" by The Guardian and played a BBC Radio session in 2007.
