Gambler

Gambler is a rock group from Chicago. The band forms in 1975 and is later reactivated in 2008 for a reunion release.

History

The group first appears as a Finnish rock band formed in Liminka in 1975, with live activity that includes appearances at major festivals such as Saapas-rock and Kuusrock. It also warms up for Kirka before splitting up after several years together.

In 2008, the band comes back together with a line-up of J.T. Seikkala on vocals and guitar, J. Lipsanen on guitar, I. Seikkala on bass guitar, and J.K. Korhonen on drums.

Release

The reunion album Reality contains 10 original songs and draws on 1970s rock influences, including Deep Purple, Pink Floyd and ZZ Top.
