Gadarene

Gadarene is a United Kingdom folk group that combines traditional English tunes with acoustic playing and rhythmic backing. Its repertoire draws on obscure English material researched from eighteenth- and nineteenth-century manuscripts, and its sound also includes a contemporary dance influence.

The group features fiddler Nick Wyke and mandolin player Matt Norman, with Laurel Swift on double bass and Si Paull on drums. Its performances have included Glastonbury Festival, Sidmouth Folk Festival, The Bath Fringe Festival and The Magpie’s Nest Folk Club.
