FuryBorn

FuryBorn is a UK metal band that forms in April 2011 from the remains of various earlier projects. The group builds its sound around a blend of metalcore and melodic death metal, with clear influence from the Gothenburg-style melodic approach associated with bands such as Soilwork and In Flames, alongside the more aggressive, cyber-metal intensity of Fear Factory and Divine Heresy. Its guitar work also draws on the technical style linked to Children of Bodom, Nevermore and Scar Symmetry.

The band quickly develops a reputation on the live circuit and shares stages with The Defiled, Romeo Must Die and Snakebite, as well as Malefice, Revoker, Ted Maul and Napalm Death. FuryBorn also wins Metal 2 The Masses 2011, which leads to an appearance at Bloodstock Open Air 2011. The group’s debut EP is The Reaping Of Our Days.
