Funk D'Void is the recording name of Lars Sandberg, a DJ and producer from Glasgow, Scotland, born in 1971. He also resides in Spain. His work is associated with dance and electronica, and he is tagged across techno, electronic, tech house, house and IDM.

Career

Sandberg begins releasing deep, funky techno around 1997 and has been DJing since 1986. His productions appear under the Funk D'Void name, alongside his work as a DJ.

Albums

He has three albums to date on Soma: Technoir from 1997, Dos from 2001 and Volume Freak from 2003. A later LP, Second Skin, continues his focus on new sounds and inspiration while retaining an emotional core in his music and performances.
