French 79

French 79 is the electronic project of Simon Henner, an artist from Marseille, France. His work sits within electronic music, French house, house, pop and synth-pop.

Career

He appears in 2014 with a sound that quickly reaches beyond the French scene. The single “Between the Buttons”, a synth-led track from the EP Angel, helps establish his profile as a producer. The EP also provides the basis for later work on the album Olympic.

Olympic includes “Diamond Veins”, a pop-oriented duet with Sarah Rebecca. The album finds a wider international audience and leads to more than 150 concerts across the world.
