Freear is an electronic music artist who works with Ekaj and releases on Ape Music. Their debut release together is “Gizmo Stomp”, which appears on Beatport and reaches number 42 in the chart, and it includes remixes by Freerange Djs, Snareophobe, Resistance, Ash Howell, Jefr Tale and Tomlinson.

Slamboree

Freear also helps form the live band Slamboree, which takes shape in March 2011. The project develops from an idea to combine underground electronic music with a full live band and an underground circus scene. Freear’s plan for the group is to bring together electronic and acoustic music with heavy beats, a changing mix of musicians, stage performers and magicians, and elements such as fire and pyrotechnics.

Live work

Slamboree tours the British festival circuit and plays Glastonbury’s Bassline Circus, Boomtown Fair, Electric Picnic, Beatherder and Shambala. At Electric Picnic in Ireland, the group is booked as the resident band for Arcadia Spectacular.
