Freddy is a UK rapper and producer from Durham. The name also refers to several other performers: a Norwegian hip-hop artist from Tjøme who is a member of ILDVANN-GERILJA`N and Ville V.; the stage name used by Cuban singer Fredesvinda Garcia, who records a single album known as Ella Cantaba Boleros or La Voz Del Sentimento; Austrian singer Freddy Quinn, whose early releases omit his surname; and a Sydney-based R&B singer and rapper who uses the same name.

One Freddy release is the album Things You Never Thought I'd Say, issued independently in Canada on 7 Arts Entertainment. The label usually works with jazz, reggae, blues and electronica, and this record is its first pop/rock release. Through a partnership with the Canadian distributor Fusion 3, the album is available in stores across Canada and receives positive radio attention.
