Franz Nicolay

Franz Nicolay is a United States-based multi-instrumentalist, active as a performer, recording and production contributor, and composer of original instrumental music. He is a member of The World/Inferno Friendship Society and The Hold Steady, and is also associated with Guignol and the Anti-Social Music collective.

Instruments and collaborations

His work includes piano, accordion, mandolin, banjo, saw and harmonica. These instruments appear on recordings by Leftover Crack, The Sharp Things, The Suckers, Mischief Brew, Demander, The Ratchets and The Debutante Hour.
