Frankmusik is the stage name of Vincent James Turner, a British producer and songwriter from Thornton Heath in South East London. He starts making music in 2007 and signs to Island/Universal later that year. His name comes from his grandfather’s surname, which he adopts in tribute.

His music combines retro synths, Commodore 64 samples, fast drum patterns and straightforward pop songwriting. It sits within electronic and electropop territory, and also connects with club, dance, indie rock and alternative rock. He is associated with new rave and electroclash as well.

Frankmusik releases his debut album, Complete Me, in 2009. He follows it with Do It in the AM in 2011, which reaches number 178 on the UK Albums Chart. In January 2012 he changes his stage name to Vincent Did It, before returning to Frankmusik in March that same year. He parts ways with his UK label, Island Records, in October 2011.
