Fountain

Fountain is a Montréal-based group associated with post-punk, indie rock, lo-fi and art rock. The name is used by more than one band, including a Canadian post-punk group and another act formed in 2004.

The 2004 group features Sven Anders Løkaas on vocals and acoustic guitar, Roy Reitan on bass and vocals, Geir Ove Åbornes on electric guitar and vocals, and Marcus Holte Hanssen on drums. That line-up plays pop and rock with melodic songs.

The Canadian Fountain is based in Victoria, British Columbia, and releases a self-titled album.
