Forward Ever

Forward Ever is a live project led by Hungarian-Ghanaian vocalist and MC Sena Dagadu and Hungarian musician and producer Dizko Stu, also known as Shabaak. Dagadu is associated with Gimmeshot, Kamu, Skeg, Barabás Lőrinc Eklektric and Irie Maffia, while Shabaak plays bass guitar and produces for Másfel and Kamu.

Repertoire and collaborators

The project draws on material from Sena’s First One album and from Shabaak’s Dizko Stu album Feet Travelling, alongside other tracks that have developed over the years without major promotion or distribution. Its material includes productions by artists from Ghana, the UK, France and Hungary, including DJ Vadim, Dela Quist, Fred Spider, Modul, Superbeat and Marcel. The lineup is refreshed with newly recorded tracks and with songs that appear on other producers’ albums, including pieces that would otherwise mainly receive radio play. The live set also reflects the underground practice of producing dubplates, remixes and alternate versions in large numbers.
