Fortress

Fortress is an Australian RAC, patriotic and heavy metal group from Melbourne, active from 1991. It forms around the Melbourne Southern Cross Hammer Skins skinhead group and shares a post-office box with them in its early days. The group issues five CDs of its own and also takes part in collaborations with neo-Nazi bands from Britain and the United States, which result in several other albums. Individual members also perform in the United States.

Background

The group is associated with rock against communism and patriotic music. It performs in Australia and also plays neo-Nazi gigs in Sweden, Germany, England, Hungary, Switzerland, Italy and Finland. Members of Destroyer 666 are involved.
