Forever Never

Forever Never are a metal band from Essex, originally formed in February 2003. The group is active from 2004 to the present and is associated with new metal, with related tags including metalcore, alternative metal, nu metal, metal and groove metal. They describe their influences as coming from “anything good, from any genre”.

Albums and releases

The band releases Aporia in March 2006, followed by a self-titled second album in April 2009. The 2009 album comes out on Siege of Amida Records and shows a more melodic direction than Aporia. Both albums receive strong critical attention, including 4/5 reviews from Kerrang! magazine, with comments noting the songwriting craft and power of the material.

Later activity

Forever Never go on hiatus in 2012, then return in 2015 with a new sound. That period sees the release of the singles “Never Giving Up”, “One Life” and “Living A Lie”. “One Life” reaches number 5 on the Kerrang! Rock Chart. The band also plans a new EP for 2016, described as its first original release since 2009.

Line-up

The current line-up consists of Renny Carroll on vocals, Mitch Witham on bass, George Lenox and Frank Ransom on guitar, and Sam Curtis on drums.
