Forestears are an alternative indie outfit from Brighton, later based in Bristol. Their music combines indie pop, rock and folk with afro-beat, Latin and jazz influences, giving them a genre-crossing sound.

The group builds a reputation through energetic live performances and festival appearances, including main stage slots. Their music also receives national radio play on BBC Radio 2 from Bob Harris and on BBC Radio 6 Music from Tom Robinson.
