FOOTPRINTS

FOOTPRINTS is a name used for more than one act: a Bronx hip-hop crew that releases a single record in 1995, and an R&B duo. It is also the name of a young jazz group from Slovakia.

Slovak jazz group

The Slovak Footprints line-up includes Miroslav Poprádi on alto saxophone, Ľuboš Brtáň on guitar, Veronika Veselovská on vocals, Pavol Kušík on double bass, and Juraj Raši on drums. The group focuses on jazz standards as well as original compositions. It performs at concert venues and private events, and it has experience playing in Slovakia and abroad.

In 2008, the band records a demo featuring “It Don’t Mean A Thing,” “Besame Mucho,” and “Cheek To Cheek.” It also brings in guest musicians when a fuller sound is needed, depending on the character of the event.
