Fool's Gold is an Afro-pop band formed in Los Angeles in 2006. The group is centred on Luke Top, whose real name is Nativ Top, and Lewis Pesacov. It also draws in friends and colleagues, including members of Foreign Born and Glasser, former members of We Are Scientists and The Fall, and a range of visual artists.

The band’s music is shaped by South African, Ethiopian and Eritrean influences. Top, who is born and raised in Israel, sings in Hebrew. Fool's Gold is signed to IAMSOUND Records.

The band has played with Cat Power, Fujiya & Miyagi and Built to Spill, and has toured with Metronomy, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, and Local Natives.
