Flowers Must Die

Flowers Must Die is a Swedish group from Linköping, active since 2006. The band consists of Martin Daun, Rickard Daun and Lars Hoffsten.

Style and influences

The group plays krautrock, progressive rock, psychedelic rock and space rock. Its music is largely improvised and combines bluesy space rock with influences from classic psychedelic and space-rock bands such as Hawkwind and Amon Düül II. It also draws on contemporary doom, stoner and post-metal, alongside elements of jazz fusion, post-bop, Swedish folk music and North African folk music.
