Floating

Floating is a Swedish group from Uppsala, active since 2022. It is described as working in death metal and post-punk, with a progressive death metal sound. The group consists of Andreas Hörmark and Arvid Sjödin.

The name also refers to a separate Philadelphia-based shoegaze-influenced indie rock band. That act includes Mary Stii on vocals and guitar, Reana Konstantis on bass, Charles Pykus on lead guitar, Jesse Wilburn on drums, and Johnny Danese on keys and synthesiser.
